Ooredoo Renews Historic Partnership with Qatar Football Association for Amir Cup Sponsorship

Ooredoo, Qatar’s leading telecommunications provider, has renewed its long-standing partnership with the Qatar Football Association (QFA) with a new four-year sponsorship deal for the Amir Cup. This marks a continuation of a relationship that has flourished for over 25 years.

The sponsorship agreement was officially signed during the Amir Cup draw by Thani Ali al-Malki, Chief Business Officer (CBO) of Ooredoo, and Mansoor Mohammed al-Ansari, General Secretary of the QFA.

Al-Malki expressed pride in the partnership, stating, “Celebrating 25 years of collaboration with the QFA through this renewed sponsorship is a proud milestone for us. It highlights our unwavering support for national sports and reinforces our commitment to bringing the excitement of football to communities across Qatar.”

Al-Ansari emphasized the significance of the renewal, noting, “It is a pleasure to announce the extension of our sponsorship agreement with Ooredoo until 2028. This continued partnership will further enhance the Qatar Football Association’s vision and strategy, and we look forward to jointly activating this sponsorship for the benefit of both parties.”
