The Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) has officially launched the Deep Tech Summit (DTS) with the ambitious goal of positioning Africa as a leader in global scientific innovation, entrepreneurship, and digital sovereignty.
This year’s summit will spotlight the role of artificial intelligence in reshaping deep tech.
“This is not a tech show,” emphasized Yassine Laghzioui, UM6P’s Director of Entrepreneurship and Venturing, as he opened the event. “We’re bringing together founders, researchers, and investors to solve real problems in real time.”
The summit aims to foster collaboration and innovation to address Africa’s technological challenges and opportunities.
